What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot in AWS-hosted distributed environments.
• Build and operate fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable, and cost-effective systems for supply chain planning.
• Write maintainable production code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical documentation.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to GenAI-powered development tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field, with at least 60 ECTS in programming, algorithms, and systems.
• Expected graduation between October 2025 and September 2026, or graduation within the last 24 months.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Java development experience, including object-oriented design and the Java Collections Framework.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Spring MVC, RESTful API development, SQL, Git, cloud deployment, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle through an internship of at least 3 months or a capstone project.
• Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Technical internship experience of 6 months or longer.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, NoSQL databases, or observability tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI tools, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, agile methodologies, or open-source and published technical work.
• German or Luxembourgish language proficiency.
