TL;DR

Senior Integration Engineer (Java/Azure): Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions in a hybrid Luxembourg role with an accent on Azure, Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and API lifecycle management. Focus on building end-to-end integrations, solving connectivity and performance issues, and ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability across distributed architectures.

Location: Hybrid in Luxembourg, with 3 days on-site and 2 days off-site

Salary: €28,000–€52,000 gross per year

What you will do

Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions.
Build end-to-end orchestration, transformation, routing, and protocol mediation flows.
Develop and manage integrations using Microsoft Azure, Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
Manage the full API lifecycle, including design, publishing, versioning, monitoring, and retirement.
Configure, maintain, and support integration platforms in production environments.
Troubleshoot connectivity, message delivery, performance, and resiliency issues while documenting integration and solution architectures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel or similar enterprise integration frameworks.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API design principles, SOAP Web Services, microservices, distributed architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with databases, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated build and deployment processes, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to take ownership of technical topics and maintain a strong focus on quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.

Nice to have

Experience with API Management platforms.
Knowledge of Apache Kafka, event-driven architectures, and enterprise messaging solutions.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
