TL;DR
Windchill Integration Developer (PLM/ERP integrations): Designing, building, and operating integrations between PTC Windchill and ERP, MES, CAD, and engineering systems with an accent on enterprise integration patterns, middleware, and PLM-to-ERP data flows. Focus on optimizing high-volume integrations, replacing legacy point-to-point connections, and delivering reliable REST, SOAP, event-driven, and message-based services.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do
- Design and develop integrations between PTC Windchill and ERP platforms including SAP, Oracle EBS, and Oracle Cloud.
- Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX, including workflow and metadata mapping.
- Develop REST and SOAP services, message-based integrations, and event-driven solutions using Windchill APIs and middleware platforms.
- Design error handling, alerting, resubmission, monitoring, and performance optimization for high-volume integrations.
- Lead migrations from legacy point-to-point integrations to modern middleware-mediated patterns.
- Collaborate with PLM, ERP, CAD, product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; provide production support and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill.
- Hands-on experience with Info*Engine, Windchill Java API, REST, SOAP, SQL, and the Windchill data model.
- Experience with PLM-to-ERP integrations, CAD integration patterns, and middleware such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- PTC Windchill certifications.
- ThingWorx or IIoT integration experience.
- Exposure to API management platforms and Kafka-based integration patterns.
- Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.
