Information Security Operations Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Somerset, New Jersey, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Base pay: $83,711–$109,870 USD per year, with performance-based bonus and/or equity available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Monitor SIEM and alerting platforms, triage and investigate security events, escalate incidents, and support root-cause analysis and reporting.
• Tune detection rules, risk scoring, log sources, integrations, certificates, and security platform upgrades.
• Run vulnerability scans, report findings, and track remediation with asset owners.
• Administer secure email, endpoint, network, cloud, and identity security controls, including EDR/XDR, MDM/UEM, SWG, ZTNA, MFA, and privileged access tools.
• Design and report on phishing simulations, support security awareness training, and investigate identity threats such as risky sign-ins and suspicious device registrations.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, operational reports, and leadership metrics while supporting audits, vendor evaluations, implementations, and security improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on SOC work, alert triage, investigation, incident response support, security tools, and cloud environments.
• Experience implementing, configuring, testing, and evaluating security products.
• Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO, CIS, and COBIT, as well as relevant compliance mandates.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanning, secure email gateways, EDR/XDR, MDM/UEM, SWG/ZTNA, SSO, SAML, MFA, conditional access, PAM/PIM, DLP, and ITSM ticketing.
• Strong analytical, technical, organizational, presentation, written communication, teamwork, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Information security certifications.
• Scripting experience, such as PowerShell.
