Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Digital Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Process, record, classify, and verify vendor invoices and supporting documentation.
• Manage vendor master data, discrepancies, approvals, credit card transactions, and employee reimbursements.
• Execute ACH and wire payments, investigate multi-currency and cross-border payment issues, and reconcile creditor accounts and vendor accruals.
• Prepare journal entries, month-end financial reporting packages, and audit documentation.
• Support AP automation, process improvements, special projects, and other accounting team activities.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of accounts payable and accounting operations experience.
• Strong proficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms such as SAP or NetSuite, including multi-GAAP experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills covering formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of European VAT requirements, multi-currency payment processing, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Big 4 firms, management consulting, growth-stage organizations, or multi-subsidiary accounting.
• Knowledge of German accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in manufacturing or technology finance operations.
• Familiarity with audit preparation and SOX or compliance frameworks.
