Senior Principal Applied Scientist (Computer Vision and AI)

What you will do

• Lead scientific work in computer vision, machine learning, generative AI, and 3D try-on experiences for size and fit.
• Develop production-scale solutions using large datasets for more than 50 million customers.
• Partner with Product Management and Design to translate ambiguous business goals into technical solutions, MVPs, and iterative roadmaps.
• Drive research and innovation involving GANs, diffusion models, image and video generation, NeRFs, Gaussian splatting, and 3D reconstruction.
• Ensure high standards for MLOps, technical reliability, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.
• Mentor applied scientists, provide feedback, support performance management, and promote research publications.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, AI, or a related field, plus 5+ years of post-doctoral industry or academic experience.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale machine learning applications through the full product lifecycle.
• Hands-on expertise in AI/ML model building and deployment with Python, PyTorch, and modern machine learning frameworks.
• Deep experience in 3D computer vision, generative AI, diffusion models, NeRFs, Gaussian splatting, and 3D reconstruction, or scaled modern AI/ML applications.
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to peers and senior leadership.
• Strong publication record in venues including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, PAMI, or IJCV, plus demonstrated mentoring experience.

• Interest or experience in data engineering and ML engineering.
