What you will do
- Research and implement computer vision and algorithmic solutions across perception, learning, optimization, and graph-based reasoning.
- Own algorithm quality end to end, from experiment design and evaluation through production reliability.
- Collaborate with algorithm, data engineering, and product teams to share models, methods, and insights.
- Monitor production model health, detect degradation, and lead remediation efforts.
- Integrate AI tools into engineering workflows while developing architectural and team-lead capabilities.
- Contribute to technical culture through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and rigorous algorithmic thinking.
Requirements
- Relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. plus 7+ years of industry experience as a Computer Vision or Algorithm Engineer, or a relevant Ph.D. plus 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Broad and deep computer vision expertise with strong algorithmic foundations.
- Deep proficiency in deep learning frameworks, with PyTorch preferred.
- Production-grade Python development skills.
- Experience taking computer vision problems from research through production and owning outcomes end to end.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, self-motivation, and entrepreneurial skills, plus an AI-first mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience with GIS datasets or geospatial computer vision.
- Familiarity with GNN or graph-based algorithms.
- Experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, S3, or EC2.
- Experience with active learning or AI-assisted annotation pipelines.
