Service Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Kazakhstan; travel within the Caspian region required for 40% of working time.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing activities, production schedules, resources, and service KPIs.
• Drive process optimization, lean manufacturing, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead the service and manufacturing teams, including performance management, coaching, training, and supervision across locations.
• Establish a new building with required equipment and personnel, monitor civil works and machinery installation, and train manufacturing technicians.
• Maintain quality, safety, inventory, budget, production, sales, and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with supply chain, senior management, regional peers, and cross-functional teams to support localization and market growth.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, or automotive industries.
• Experience in multinational and multicultural environments, project execution, team management, and managing teams across locations.
• Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment and failure and root cause analysis.
• Strong commercial, technical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, Kazakh, and Russian is mandatory.
