Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Finance ALM)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work model. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and Oracle PL/SQL code.
• Improve the performance and reliability of critical Finance ALM banking applications.
• Understand client needs and deliver solutions aligned with project goals.
• Contribute to application testing, validation, and technical documentation.
• Provide application support, including on-call activities.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum/Kanban teams and implement version control, CI/CD, and TDD practices.

Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience as a database developer, focused on Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong SQL performance tuning skills and experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of code versioning, CI/CD tools, and TDD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent English at a minimum B2 level and an existing legal right to work in the EU.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java or Python development.
• Knowledge of French.
