Network Security Engineer

Location: Remote; based in Almaty, Kazakhstan

What you will do

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain information security and network protection products, including GoAnywhere and Skybox.
• Administer network access control, firewalls, and other intelligent security systems.
• Implement, monitor, and improve information security processes and best practices.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 incident response and technical support to IT representatives across branches in Israel and worldwide.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of corporate systems and data.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience administering, communicating, and maintaining enterprise firewalls for environments with more than 500 users.
• High proficiency in English, written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn quickly, multitask, and provide service-oriented technical support.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft ecosystems, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience securing systems in a cloud environment, especially Azure.
• Knowledge and administration experience with Check Point firewalls.
• Familiarity with Cisco infrastructure and proxy solutions.
• Experience in a global, multinational corporate environment and availability for after-hours or on-call support.
