Risk Manager, CN (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review the risks of new businesses and products, identify exposure, and develop appropriate risk-control strategies.
• Build a comprehensive risk-control framework aligned with domestic regulatory requirements, including internal controls, systems, and risk-model initiatives.
• Coordinate risk-related systems and requirements with regulators, clearing institutions, and industry associations.
• Define merchant-management standards and oversee merchant onboarding approvals, monitoring, offboarding, and risk-event response.
• Manage judicial cooperation related to anti-gambling and anti-fraud activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and more than five years of experience in the payments industry.
• Knowledge of domestic regulatory requirements for payment institutions and risk management.
• Experience with cross-border payment business models and risk characteristics; domestic risk-control experience is preferred.
• Experience driving risk-control system and risk-model development or optimization projects.
• Strong communication and internal collaboration skills.
• Proficient English reading and writing skills with the ability to communicate in daily work.

Nice to have

• Experience participating in on-site regulatory inspections.
• Experience in domestic risk management.
