3D Environment Artist (Unreal Engine)

Location: Remote from Tashkent, Uzbekistan

hirify.global develops game content in partnership with a Tier-1 global publisher for a large-scale live-service AAA title.

What you will do

• Create modular level art assets and props from scratch.
• Build trim sheets, tileable textures, and unique textures for high-quality environment assets.
• Optimize assets for different platforms by creating LODs and collisions.
• Contribute to vibrant, stylized environments for a live-service AAA game.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in the video game industry creating architecture and props.
• Strong 3D modeling skills across a variety of styles, including the ability to manually adjust weighted normals.
• Strong knowledge of baking and texturing with Marmoset, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
• Ability to bake assets made of multiple parts and create assets primarily from scratch.
• Experience working with Unreal Engine 5.
• Ability to work remotely from Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with Maya.
• Passion for game development and the ability to learn quickly.
