Principal AI Scientist (AI)

Base pay range: $273,500–$369,500 per year

What you will do

• Build and deploy machine learning models using analytical algorithms and deep learning.
• Lead work across machine learning, NLP, statistics, and optimization while contributing hands-on expertise.
• Create capabilities for marketing audiences, brand management, generative engine optimization, price optimization, creative generation, and digital twins.
• Develop foundational ML methods and novel applications based on current technologies and industry trends.
• Shape multi-year product and technology strategy, ML platform architecture, and critical business projects.
• Lead teams and partners through the delivery and integration of ML solutions, including design reviews and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• PhD or MS in engineering mathematics, statistics, theoretical or computational physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a lead in AI science or in AI science management.
• Expert hands-on knowledge in one or more of machine learning, NLP, statistics, or optimization.
• 6+ years of experience working with large datasets and databases, and 6+ years with a general-purpose programming language such as Python or Scala.
• Expert experience with ML pipelines, processes, and design patterns.
• Strong executive-level communication, influence, leadership, and team delivery experience; marketing platform or media management experience is required.

Nice to have

• Background in cognitive sciences or human psychology, including consumer, buyer, supporter, detractor, or group behavioral sciences.
