AI Strategist

Location: Thornton, Colorado, United States. Essential functions must be performed at a company-designated office or field location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 per year, paid weekly.

What you will do

• Define the enterprise AI vision, strategy, roadmap, and pipeline of potential initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities based on business value, risk, feasibility, and expected cost or productivity improvements.
• Develop AI governance and adoption frameworks covering compliance, security, risk management, ethics, and regulatory adherence.
• Assess data and AI readiness across IT systems and measure AI value, performance, and business outcomes.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and collaborate with Communications on employee AI education and training.
• Act as an internal consultant and collaborate with executives, business stakeholders, data and analytics, IT, security, application development, legal, and operations teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role and 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science; a graduate degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, data management, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to develop business cases, quantify ROI, prioritize portfolios, evaluate investments, and measure performance.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, risk management, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• AI or data certifications from Microsoft, Google, or Amazon.
• Recognized training or certifications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
