TL;DR
Data Scientist (Python/GCP): Building data pipelines, statistical models, machine learning solutions, and Power BI dashboards to generate forecasts and actionable business insights with an accent on data quality, cloud analytics, and stakeholder communication. Focus on cleaning and transforming multi-source datasets, optimizing SQL queries, and translating business challenges into practical analytical recommendations.

Location: Remote from Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

What you will do

  • Collect, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Build statistical models and machine learning algorithms for insights and forecasts.
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimize data pipelines and analytical solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for large-scale data extraction and transformation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to deliver actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform for data analytics.
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, data preparation, transformation, and quality validation.
  • Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards.
  • Native Spanish and B2+ English proficiency, written and spoken.
