Data Engineer LATAM (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, schedule, and monitor production-grade data pipelines and data-intensive systems.
• Deploy and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data infrastructure on AWS or on-premises.
• Optimize MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational and NoSQL systems for efficient data access.
• Build reliable ingestion and transformation workflows for large-scale and time-series financial data.
• Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and operational stability mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts, troubleshoot complex data issues, and contribute to the data infrastructure roadmap.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or another JVM-based language.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, NoSQL databases, and workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines or data-intensive systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Experience with large-scale and time-series financial datasets, including financial data structures and quality challenges.
• Professional proficiency in English and availability to work remotely from Brazil.
