Senior Accountant (IFRS)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus; full-time, office-based

International company working with financial structures across multiple jurisdictions.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management reporting, perform plan-versus-actual analysis, and explain financial variances.
• Prepare complete IFRS financial statements, including the statement of financial position, statement of comprehensive income, cash flow statement, and accompanying notes.
• Maintain primary accounting documentation and review accounting adjustments, classifications, and balances.
• Coordinate with external accountants and perform quality control of outsourced financial statements.
• Review consolidated reporting and accounting data for structures in Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UAE.
• Prepare responses to bank compliance requests and support KYC/AML processes with accurate financial documentation.

Requirements

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and practical experience preparing a complete IFRS reporting package from scratch.
• Advanced 1C Accounting skills, including data selections, customized reports, chart of accounts management, entries, and adjustments.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, slicers, SUMIFS, and INDEX/MATCH.
• Business English at B2–C1 level with the ability to conduct professional correspondence and review foreign financial statements.
• Experience with international outsourced accounting providers, strong attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and the ability to meet strict banking and reporting deadlines.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, DipIFR, or a similar professional qualification.
• Knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements in Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UAE.
• Experience with consolidated reporting, bank compliance, KYC, and AML requests.
• Experience in an international or multi-jurisdictional company.
