Frontend Developer (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: 100% remote within the United States and eligible states. The role may also support in-office or hybrid work from the San Marcos office.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and maintain responsive booking websites, advisor tools, internal platforms, and reusable front-end components.
• Develop modern applications with Vue 3 Composition API, Nuxt, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Contribute to product discovery, technical planning, architecture decisions, estimation, and code reviews.
• Create automated unit and component tests with Vitest and Vue Test Utils, and document components with Storybook.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes, server-side rendering, hydration performance, accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Codex while reviewing, validating, testing, and securing generated code.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong experience with Vue 3, Nuxt 3/4, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, and Vite.
• Experience writing unit and component tests with Vitest, using Git workflows, and reviewing pull requests.
• Knowledge of responsive design, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, Core Web Vitals, SSR, hydration, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Must work remotely from the United States and eligible states, maintain reliable connectivity, protect confidential information, and communicate clearly in English.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating Nuxt 2 applications to Nuxt 3/4.
• Experience building shared component libraries, design systems, or front-end platforms.
• Experience with Storybook, CI/CD, deployment workflows, travel technology, online booking, e-commerce, or high-traffic customer-facing websites.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, web development, or a related field.
