Senior Test Engineer (RF Focused)

Location: Longmont, Colorado, United States; onsite work involving laboratory testing, technician support, and production support.

What you will do

• Plan, perform, and ensure the quality of RF bench, near-field and far-field radiation pattern, passive intermodulation, high-RF-power, thermal-vacuum, and other tests.
• Develop test requirements, verification methods, test plans, procedures, layouts, reports, and Test Readiness Review packages.
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to design test fixtures and mitigate testing risks.
• Configure methods for processing test data and controlling RF test equipment; debug test issues and review results.
• Support design reviews, customer reviews, technical proposals, presentations, data reviews, production activities, and work-instruction development.
• Train, mentor, and troubleshoot for Test Technicians and support technician activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of industry experience.
• Strong familiarity with RF test equipment, measurement techniques, communication systems, and RF/microwave components.
• Familiarity with environmental test methods and equipment, test-uncertainty budgets, and RF power/link analysis.
• Programming or scripting skills, along with bookkeeping and data-management skills.
• Work involves technical data controlled by ITAR and EAR; access by foreign nationals requires prior export authorization.
