Test Technician (Avionics)

What you will do

• Design and implement complex test setups for spacecraft component, assembly, development, and production testing.
• Improve production test processes, acceptance test flow, and test automation with test and manufacturing engineers.
• Maintain and calibrate environmental and robotic test equipment.
• Investigate production non-conformances, determine root causes, and drive dispositions.
• Maintain process planning documentation and provide training on practical test setups and instrumentation.
• Support avionics test activities during integrated vehicle and propulsion testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 4+ years of experience with electronic or propulsion assemblies and/or production test environments, or a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Deep knowledge of safe electrical, power, and data acquisition system operation.
• Proficiency with wiring, electrical systems, fabricating parts, and building test capabilities with minimal direction.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and implement practical solutions.
• Must meet U.S. Government ITAR work-authorization requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering.
• 7+ years of experience supporting production and testing of highly complex components.
• Experience designing tooling and using CAD for 3D-printable or sheet-metal fixtures.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment.
