Senior Scrum Master (Maternity Cover)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia. Hybrid work model with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.

Base salary: EUR 3,300–5,400 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as a servant leader for Product Owners and members of 3–4 Scrum Squads.
• Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint closing, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Support backlog management, prioritization, planning, delivery tracking, and transparency using Azure DevOps.
• Coach Squads toward self-organization, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Help identify and remove impediments, mediate conflicts, and protect Squads from external distractions.
• Drive process improvements across the wider organizational Unit and collaborate with other Scrum Masters.

Requirements

• More than three years of experience working with Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong knowledge of Agile practices, tools, and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or comparable Agile delivery management tools, including backlog management, sprint planning, dashboards, and delivery tracking.
• Ability to understand engineering work and communicate effectively with engineers.
• Experience with enterprise IT tools and processes in an international organization, or a comparable environment.
• Strong communication, coaching, mentoring, influencing, conflict mediation, and people-interaction skills.
