Mainframe Senior MQ Support (IBM MQ)

What you will do

• Install, configure, administer, and support IBM MQ on z/OS in production environments.
• Manage queue managers, Queue Sharing Groups, shared queues, coupling facilities, channels, queues, and Pub/Sub.
• Troubleshoot incidents and tune performance using logs, traces, dumps, SMF data, and monitoring tools.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, and MQ security.
• Manage incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements for mission-critical systems.
• Use monitoring and automation tools such as CA SYSVIEW or equivalent.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ on z/OS, including administration and production support.
• Solid mainframe knowledge covering z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SMP/E, REXX, OMVS, VTAM, SNA, and VSAM.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, SSL/TLS, digital certificates, and RACF.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CICS TS for z/OS, zHyperWrite, and automation tools.
