Settlements Analyst (Energy Trading)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end settlement lifecycle for power, gas, environmental products, green certificates, derivatives, and FX transactions.
• Validate trade data and settlement calculations against contractual terms.
• Perform daily cashflow, position, and invoice reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor settlement deadlines and payment schedules while investigating breaks and disputes.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Credit, IT, traders, and counterparties.
• Support new products, counterparties, and markets by defining processes and testing system changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in settlements, trade operations, invoicing, or trade support, ideally in energy trading.
• Knowledge of energy trading products, including power, gas, environmental products, renewable certificates, derivatives, and FX.
• Familiarity with trading systems such as Endur.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines and resolve operational issues proactively.
