What you will do

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities for an Italian legal entity.
• Oversee automated sales, purchasing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
• Prepare financial reports, journal entries, payment files, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Perform bank, intercompany, and monthly reconciliations while maintaining fixed asset records.
• Prepare VAT returns, VAT reports, Journal Books, F24 forms, and other government filings.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, consultants, auditors, and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a similar accounting role within Italian and international entities.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Experience in general or tax accounting and strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, laws, and regulations.
• Familiarity with Local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Fluent English, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP.
