Backend Java Engineer

Location: On-site in Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi, Vietnam

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with relational databases including Oracle and MySQL.
• Implement business logic and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Perform API testing and troubleshooting with Postman, and participate in code reviews and debugging.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar systems.
• Proficiency with Git, Agile/Scrum practices, Postman, software development principles, and debugging techniques.
• Commitment to information security, data confidentiality, and ISO 27001-aligned policies and procedures.

• Experience in banking, finance, or other enterprise systems.
