Solutions Architect IV, Procurement (SAP S/4HANA/Ariba)

Location: Remote - United States. The role may require 30% or more domestic and international travel to manufacturing, customer, and supplier sites. A current passport and appropriate travel visas are required for international travel. Preference is given to US Citizens, EAD, and Green Card holders.

What you will do

• Lead procurement transformation initiatives using SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Ariba Suite.
• Design and optimize procurement, purchasing, inventory, invoice verification, supplier lifecycle, and performance processes.
• Manage full-cycle Ariba and S/4HANA implementations, including integrations, cutover, go-live, and hyper-care support.
• Drive vendor onboarding, enablement, data migration, reconciliation, compliance, and procurement analytics.
• Support change management, training, documentation, and user adoption across cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SAP project teams, consultants, and delivery partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP Procurement experience, including at least 3 years with Ariba Suite and S/4HANA Materials Management architecture and implementation.
• At least two full-cycle Ariba and S/4HANA implementations in an architect or lead role, including SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, SAP MM configuration, Ariba modules, supplier lifecycle management, VMI, consignment, data migration, and reconciliation.
• Experience with large-scale ERP implementations, integrations, internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Medical device industry or Maquiladora experience.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SimpleMDG, OneSource, WalkMe, OpenText, Cloud ALM, Signavio, or Tricentis.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodologies and SAP Ariba or Procurement certifications.
