Senior Flutter Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office; new starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do

• Architect solutions, document technical decisions, and build the Flutter application and internal packages.
• Write readable, testable, resilient, performant, and accessible mobile software.
• Diagnose and resolve defects throughout the mobile application lifecycle.
• Influence engineering standards through technical leadership, pairing, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Identify anti-patterns, technical risks, and opportunities to improve the codebase.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn customer needs into dependable mobile experiences.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience shipping, releasing, and maintaining production mobile applications for real customers.
• Substantial production Flutter experience or a strong native mobile background combined with significant Flutter projects.
• Strong mobile DevOps knowledge, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and app store deployment.
• Advanced software engineering, architecture, code review, debugging, and maintainability skills.
• Knowledge of reactive state management, design systems, accessibility practices, and shared component libraries.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Nice to have

• Native Android development with Kotlin or iOS development with Swift.
• Experience in finance, investing, or another regulated domain.
• Experience with backend-for-frontend architectures.
• Experience building or owning a design system or shared component library.
