Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid role in Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do

• Oversee cloud security governance, monitoring, and cloud security posture management.
• Design, support, and maintain cloud-native security controls across Azure and Google Cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, development, and GRC teams as a cloud security subject-matter expert.
• Conduct cloud environment security reviews and document recommendations and best practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities, weak spots, and missing controls, then provide remediation guidance.
• Participate in security incident investigations and automate security-related tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical security role.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of CSPM and DSPM solutions and cloud infrastructure security.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, serverless technologies, and code or artifact repositories.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise architecture, networking, firewalls, proxies, Windows/Linux systems, and web or database servers.
• Basic Python or Shell scripting skills, understanding of AI concepts, and effective spoken and written English communication.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS cloud.
• Security, systems, or networking certifications.
• Hands-on experience with modern application development approaches.
