Manufacturing Engineer (Collaborative Automation)

Location: Tianjin, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing processes across production, cost, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements and modifications to manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment and process reliability and address problem areas.
• Provide engineering support for the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, and facilities.
• Coach and develop operations technical staff and support functions.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Basic understanding of collaborative automation, including cobot applications and the differences between collaborative and traditional robots.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing engineering methods and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and apply structured problem-solving approaches.
• Availability to work onsite in Tianjin five days a week.
