Manager of Operations & HR (Physical AI)

Location: Montreal, Canada; the role includes office operations, facilities management, and on-site conference and trade show attendance.

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical departments.
• Manage shipping, receiving, office operations, facilities, conferences, trade shows, and company events.
• Lead HR operations, including onboarding, hiring coordination, outreach filtering, policy updates, compliance, and employee relations.
• Track market compensation trends and identify personnel-related risks and organizational gaps.
• Maintain onboarding documentation, technology, access, and visibility permissions.
• Use AI tools to build operational dashboards and provide insights to leadership and the board.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, with flexibility for candidates demonstrating strong aptitude and adaptability.
• Background in finance, engineering, computer science, or HR.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn and apply AI tools to streamline workflows and visualize company processes.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Background in software, engineering, or operations.
• Experience or strong interest in using technology to manage company-wide systems, processes, and projects.
• Experience with corporate operations, project oversight, or process oversight.
