ICT Security Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Via Melen 83, 16152 Genoa, Italy; full-time, permanent position. Availability to travel nationally and internationally is expected.

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, monitor, and improve cybersecurity controls across corporate IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and digital workplace environments.
• Support threat detection, incident analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons learned.
• Deploy, harden, and administer security tools and IT platforms, including Microsoft endpoint, identity, cloud, email, and collaboration security services.
• Manage vulnerability processes, remediation coordination, identity and access controls, privileged access governance, and access reviews.
• Develop security monitoring dashboards, metrics, log analytics, and operational reporting.
• Contribute technical expertise to security projects, infrastructure modernization, audits, remediation plans, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, infrastructure security, SOC, or a related technical cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of network security, security controls, incident response, security investigations, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity technologies, endpoint protection and EDR, cloud security, Linux administration and hardening, and Microsoft security technologies including Defender XDR, Entra ID, Intune, Sentinel, conditional access, and privileged access controls.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls, plus the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work independently across teams.
• Professional proficiency in English and availability to travel nationally and internationally are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, industrial, manufacturing, IoT, OT, or AI-driven environments.
• Experience with hybrid-cloud and multi-site international infrastructures, security automation, attack surface management, continuous monitoring, threat hunting, or threat intelligence.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, secure network segmentation, DevSecOps, and secure cloud deployment practices.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Microsoft SC-200, CCNA, CCNA Security, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
