Principal Business Consultant (AI/BIM)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; onsite role. Travel may be required for up to 50% of working time.

What you will do

• Advise customers on strategic transformation and innovation in process planning, operations, and supply chain integration.
• Connect digitalization, Industry 4.0, BIM, cloud platforms, AI, and ML trends to measurable business outcomes.
• Work with executives and senior business leaders to define, clarify, and prioritize digital strategies and success criteria.
• Collaborate with solution architects, consultants, and hirify.global stakeholders to design and present customer solutions.
• Prepare and manage proposals, business assessments, process analyses, workflow documentation, cost estimates, delivery methods, and work breakdown structures.
• Support decision-making, issue resolution, sales presentations, and identification of additional customer product and service opportunities.

Requirements

• Excellent Japanese communication skills and business-level English are required.
• Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of hirify.global or competing products relevant to process requirements, including AutoCAD Plant 3D & P&ID, Inventor, Factory Design Suite, Fusion 360, Dynamo, BIM 360, and Revit.
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder influence, solution design, and teamwork skills in onsite and remote environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of and practical experience with BIM 360.
