Billing Analyst - Managed K8s

What you will do

• Design and maintain pricing models across GPU types, regions, commitment tiers, and spot or on-demand usage.
• Analyze metered GPU-hours, node-hours, storage, and network egress across clusters and namespaces.
• Reconcile usage data with billing statements and payment records, identify discrepancies, and lead root-cause investigations.
• Administer GPU-fault credits by determining eligibility, calculating adjustments, and maintaining auditable records.
• Partner with finance, product, engineering, and infrastructure teams on pricing, metering, billing readiness, and credit policies.
• Build documented processes and controls for month-end close, invoice review, pricing rules, SKU definitions, and credit issuance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or financial analysis for a usage-based or consumption-priced product.
• Experience with pricing model design and billing reconciliation for products with complex SKU matrices.
• Strong analytical skills with usage and billing data, including direct work with SQL or spreadsheets and large usage-event datasets.
• Experience administering credit, adjustment, or SLA-remediation processes with full auditability.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering to define metering requirements and validate platform usage data without writing the underlying metering code.
• Familiarity with cloud or Kubernetes usage measurement, including compute-hours, GPU-hours, and node- or pod-level attribution, is valuable.
