KYC/KYB Analyst - Japanese Speaker (Web3)

Location: Remote-first work-from-home arrangement for candidates in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, or Vietnam; availability may vary depending on the role and team.

What you will do

• Handle and review client enquiries related to individual and corporate onboarding.
• Manage workload and priorities while escalating key risks and issues to managers.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, Product, and other stakeholders to collect evidence for KYC/KYB due diligence.
• Monitor, document, and escalate unusual activities and AML flags.
• Participate in AML/CFT and role-related training programs.
• Share knowledge with colleagues across the country and region and complete related administrative activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in customer support, KYC/KYB operations, onboarding, or compliance.
• Knowledge of applicable local laws, directives, regulations, virtual-currency policies, and compliance operations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, trigger reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
• Proficiency with compliance applications such as World-Check, Liquid, or Kodex.
• Strong ownership of end-to-end client onboarding, attention to detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Fluency in English and Japanese is required for coordination with overseas partners and stakeholders.
