What you will do
- Plan and safely execute mining, development, construction, and project activities within designated operational areas.
- Coordinate project and construction schedules with the On-Mine Plan and approved business priorities.
- Deliver quality ore to designated ore passes in line with production plans.
- Ensure operations comply with approved standards, procedures, work instructions, and legal requirements, including the Mine Health and Safety Act.
- Lead frontline production, development, project, and construction personnel, including supervision and performance management.
- Monitor operational performance and direct resource allocation to achieve safety, production, development, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
Requirements
- Mine Overseer Certificate for Scheduled Mines.
- Blasting Certificate, First Aid Certificate, valid driver’s licence, and valid Certificate of Fitness.
- At least five years of mining experience at metalliferous mines.
- At least three years of experience as a Mine Overseer holding Regulation 2.14.1 read with 2.13.12 appointments.
- Experience in underground mine development, conventional mining half-level optimization, and coordinating production, development, and project execution.
- Knowledge of MHSA statutory responsibilities, underground project planning, leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
