Senior Manager, Delivery (AI)

Location: Based in Amsterdam, with flexibility to travel onsite to customer locations

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, and grow a team of AI Deployment Engineers.
• Own delivery outcomes, staffing, roadmaps, adoption, and measurable success across customer implementations.
• Set technical standards for agentic AI systems, including prompts, evaluations, tool integrations, guardrails, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Review deployments for reliability, safety, auditability, cost, and latency in customer environments.
• Act as the senior technical partner for customer stakeholders and escalation point for complex implementations.
• Coordinate engineering, data science, product, and customer success teams while feeding field learnings back into the product organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of customer-facing technical delivery experience, including 2+ years leading engineers or technical delivery teams.
• Experience building and growing high-performing technical teams delivering complex work for external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying agentic AI systems, including LLM-powered agents, tool and function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, or multi-agent orchestration.
• Fluency in prompt engineering and agent evaluation, with judgment about production reliability.
• Working proficiency in Python or a comparable language, plus SQL, REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, Git workflows, and cloud-hosted systems.
• Experience with data pipelines, data modeling, ML systems, agent frameworks, and AI-assisted coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with global trade, supply chain, customs, or trade compliance.
• Experience scaling delivery, professional services, or forward-deployed engineering teams.
• Background in enterprise software implementation at scale.
• Formal product management experience covering roadmaps, specifications, and stakeholder prioritization.
