BIM Modeller (Fire Protection)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; the role includes site visits, inspections and work across projects in New Zealand and Australia.

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate and maintain wet and dry fire protection BIM models using Revit.
• Produce technical drawings, schedules and construction documentation for multidisciplinary projects.
• Collaborate with fire protection engineers, project managers, architects and other disciplines to deliver coordinated design solutions.
• Support model reviews, clash detection, multidisciplinary coordination and project delivery.
• Help develop BIM standards, workflows and best practices across New Zealand and Australia.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and project outcomes through digital innovation and automation.

Requirements

• Experience in a building services, fire protection or engineering consultancy environment.
• Demonstrated experience with BIM methodologies in a multidisciplinary design environment.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and associated BIM software platforms.
• Understanding of building services design, construction documentation and model coordination.
• Strong attention to detail, project prioritisation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant qualifications in BIM, engineering design, drafting, architectural technology or a related discipline.

• Experience modelling fire protection systems.
