Golang or Kotlin Developer

hirify.global Oy is hiring for an ongoing cloud-native software project focused on scalable, high-performance systems.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Golang and/or Kotlin.
• Develop applications on Google Cloud Platform in a cloud-native environment.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Build and support event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA engineers while improving development workflows.

Requirements

• Strong coding experience in Golang and/or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications, preferably on GCP.
• Expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in agile/lean teams with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vertex AI or other cloud-based AI services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
• Understanding of networking concepts including IP/MPLS.
• Experience improving team workflows, development processes, or DevOps practices.
