Software Testing Analyst (Manual Testing)

Salary: $52,000–$55,000 annually

What you will do

• Test and verify software applications throughout the development life cycle.
• Build test plans, scenarios, data, and manual system-level test cases.
• Analyze requirements, execute tests, and document and analyze results.
• Report defects and collaborate with analysts, Product Owners, and developers on resolution.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and escalation of quality concerns.
• Provide project estimates, status updates, and support for department inquiries and maintenance tables.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in quality assurance testing.
• Technical trade or business school education in project management, technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
• Strong skills in writing test cases and test protocols, including smoke and regression testing.
• Knowledge of Jira, TestRail, or equivalent tools, plus experience with SQL.
• Experience with Windows, DB2, SQL Server, multi-tiered web-based systems, Agile development, and Scrum.
