Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Oslo, Norway — hybrid

Fast-growing fintech focused on modern digital banking platforms and customer-facing portals.

What you will do

• Shape and elevate user experiences across web-based digital banking products and customer-facing portals.
• Conduct user research and translate user needs into clear, effective design solutions.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, prototypes, and responsive pixel-perfect designs.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers throughout product delivery.

Requirements

• Strong UX foundation and understanding of user journeys and user-centred design principles.
• Excellent visual design skills across typography, colour, layout, spacing, and micro-interactions.
• Strong experience with Figma or similar design tools, including prototyping and developer handoffs.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and WCAG best practices.
• Awareness of how AI can support and improve the design process.

Nice to have

• Basic frontend knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, Blazor, or similar technologies.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
• Experience in regulated industries such as fintech or banking, including KYC or consent flows.
• Experience with Hotjar, Maze, Amplitude, motion design, or animation.
