🔎 Hiring: Senior Backend RoR Engineer
Im looking for a Senior Backend RoR Engineer to join an established international dating product with a large user base.
📍 Location: EU

This is a hands-on role for an experienced Ruby on Rails engineer who enjoys designing scalable systems, solving complex backend challenges, and improving performance in a high-traffic consumer product.
What youll be working on
✔️ Developing and scaling backend services
✔️ Designing and improving backend architecture
✔️ Optimizing application performance and database queries
✔️ Working with cloud infrastructure and deployment
✔️ Building and maintaining APIs and integrations
✔️ Running A/B tests and supporting product experiments
✔️ Improving security, reliability, and development processes
Were looking for someone with
• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience in production
• Experience designing and scaling backend systems
• Strong knowledge of databases and query optimization
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment, and optimization
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Understanding of microservices, serverless architectures, and DevOps practices
• Experience with REST APIs and automated testing
• Knowledge of web and mobile application security
• English B2+ or higher
🕒 Time zone: Availability for at least 4 working hours overlapping with the Taipei team (GMT+8), including internal meetings during EU mornings.
