Infra/Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; full-time work at the Stockholm office

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate the AWS environment as code using AWS CDK and managed, serverless-first services including ECS on Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
• Own the developer platform, including CI/CD, GitHub Actions, deployment workflows, internal tooling, and golden paths.
• Build monitoring, alerting, reliability controls, and cost-management guardrails for production systems.
• Secure AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and backend services, primarily written in Go.
• Lead threat modelling, vulnerability management, penetration-testing coordination, and incident response.
• Provide infrastructure controls, logging, access management, change control, and automated evidence for SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS or a comparable platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi, and CI/CD systems.
• Solid understanding of security fundamentals and the design of preventive and detective controls.
• Ability to write and reason about backend code for internal tooling, services, and automation; Go experience is a plus.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English and availability to work from the Stockholm office.

• Experience with Go.
• Prior knowledge of finance and banking.
