Symfony Developer (PHP)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; office, hybrid, or remote work options. Working hours: GMT +1, 10 AM–6 PM.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain existing and new web systems and applications.
• Deliver technical solutions within agreed timelines.
• Participate in daily meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and refinements.
• Plan and estimate medium-sized development tasks.
• Support frontend developers with the technical foundations required for their work.
• Create and maintain project technical documentation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer.
• Professional experience with PHP, Symfony 4–6, Docker or Ubuntu, object-oriented programming, and basic design patterns.
• Experience with REST or SOAP APIs, Memcache or Redis, relational databases, and MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Git and experience with GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• English at B2 level.
• Ability to build efficient, scalable solutions and collaborate effectively in a development team.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebSockets, Laravel, Yii, Zend, AWS, serverless, microservices, Elasticsearch, Varnish, or unit testing.
• Experience with Scrum, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies and larger development teams.
• Experience handling large data volumes and optimizing databases.
