Senior DevOps & Backend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Deploy, manage, and scale production workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Maintain and evolve Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Terraspace.
• Develop and extend Python and Django backend systems for TeamsMaestro and MailMaestro.
• Own GitHub Actions pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response to maintain high availability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and LLM-based automation in daily workflows.

Requirements

• Production experience operating AKS, EKS, or GKE clusters, including Helm, RBAC, ingress-nginx, cert-manager, HPA, node pools, and pod scheduling.
• Strong Azure experience with AKS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Container Registry, and VNet.
• Experience with Terraform, Terraspace, or OpenTofu for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong Python and Django skills.
• Experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools daily and integrating AI capabilities into workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with External Secrets Operator, Kyverno, Let's Encrypt DNS01, and external-dns.
• AWS experience alongside Azure.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, network policies, SOC2, and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with spot or preemptible instances and Infracost.
