What you will do

• Support a major platform transformation from legacy environments to a cloud-first Azure architecture.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Deliver and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Scale the platform underpinning core applications to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to shape platform standards, tooling, and ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform (essential).
• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Must be based in Cape Town or within commutable distance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting .NET or web-based applications.
• Exposure to hybrid or enterprise environments (cloud and on-prem).
• Knowledge of blue-green or canary deployment strategies.
• Experience in financial services or data platforms.
