Senior Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, secure, and observable end-to-end data and AI solutions.
• Implement high-performance batch and real-time ETL/ELT using AWS or Azure, Spark, and Databricks.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, deployment, and monitoring for data platforms and ML products.
• Develop cloud-native microservices and APIs in secure and resilient cloud environments.
• Define MLOps strategies covering versioning, feature stores, monitoring, drift detection, and model lifecycle management.
• Build LLM-powered products using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of advanced Python experience building production-grade data and backend solutions.
• 5 years of cloud engineering experience with AWS or Azure, preferably in data-intensive environments.
• 5–10 years of experience with Databricks and 5 years designing multi-cloud CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• 5 years designing, implementing, and operating distributed services and APIs, including 2 years building backend services.
• 2 years integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, AI agents, or MCP-based services into real applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies, Git or similar tools, Spark, and Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Exposure to Claims, Pricing, or Underwriting domains and related data.
