Digital Manufacturing Engineer (Industry 4.0): Developing and integrating manufacturing systems and digital solutions for manufacturing operations with an accent on process simplification, efficiency, automation, and smart factory initiatives. Location: Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil; on-site five days a week

What you will do
- Own and support the Manufacturing Systems Roadmap, aligning it with business strategy and corporate IT guidelines.
- Investigate, evaluate, and propose manufacturing systems and digital solutions that improve simplification, efficiency, and scalability.
- Support digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, data-driven manufacturing, IoT, and smart factory initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, logistics, automation, IT, technology center, and Center of Excellence teams on system integration.
- Translate manufacturing and business challenges into practical technology-driven solutions and work with suppliers on emerging technologies.
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering automation projects and ensure compliance with architecture, data, cybersecurity, and governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Active professional engineering license (CREA).
- Intermediate English required; pre-advanced English is an advantage.
- Knowledge of collaborative automation, cobots, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing processes, and robotic process automation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and/or data architecture, manufacturing process automation, and programming languages is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil.
