Accounting Lead

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden

What you will do

• Own day-to-day and month-end accounting for group entities across Europe and the UK.
• Coordinate month-end close activities and prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and contribute to group consolidation accounting.
• Handle VAT and tax compliance, statutory reporting, annual accounts, and audit support.
• Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ownership, including chart-of-accounts and setup questions.
• Drive accounting process improvements, support onboarding, and contribute to cross-functional finance projects without formal people-management responsibility.

Requirements

• Solid experience in financial accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close within a multi-entity or international group.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Structured, detail-oriented approach to working across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or similar modern finance and technology tools for accounting and reporting.

• Background in audit from an accounting or audit firm.
