Accounts Payable Accountant (AI)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid setup with flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Verify, code, approve and record vendor invoices for Swedish and international entities.
• Manage vendor payments, account reconciliations and outstanding items.
• Handle vendor queries and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies with internal stakeholders.
• Support month-end closing, AP reporting and other accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation.
• Improve accounts payable processes through AI and automation tools.

Requirements

• Degree or relevant education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and invoice processes.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system.
• Structured, detail-oriented and organised approach with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English required; Swedish knowledge is an advantage.
