TL;DR
Android Developer (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose): Building and maintaining high-quality Android applications with an accent on user experience, app reliability, and modern mobile architecture. Focus on translating complex designs into functional features, improving performance, applying SOLID and MVVM principles, and participating in the full development lifecycle.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week in the office depending on location. The role also allows working from abroad for up to 13 weeks per year.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Android applications with cross-functional teams.
- Translate complex design specifications and client requirements into user-friendly Android features.
- Improve application performance, usability, reliability, and stability.
- Apply SOLID principles, MVVM, and other software design patterns to maintain code quality.
- Take ownership of the end product, identify issues proactively, and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Solid understanding of Android frameworks and the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and MVVM design patterns.
- Problem-solving skills, independence, proactive ownership, and effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Previous experience with Java.
- Interest in emerging mobile and UX technologies.
